Product features and applications
1. The bio based Eucommia ulmoides gum splint is made based on the low-temperature plasticity and memory function of Eucommia ulmoides gum. After being placed in hot water at 70 ℃ -100 ℃ for 10-20 seconds, the material's morphology and structure become soft and plastic. After cooling, it does not rebound, and if it is not shaped properly at once, it can still undergo repeated plasticity.
2. This material has high strength, light weight, is non-toxic and odorless, and is non irritating to the skin. It can replace traditional materials for orthopedic external fixation, correction of bone and joint deformities, reduction of joint dislocation, orthopedic and rehabilitation braces, fixation of sports type ligament soft tissue injuries and tendon injuries.
Usage
1. Place the Eucommia ulmoides gum splint in hot water between 70 ℃ and 100 ℃, completely soften it, and then remove it immediately;
2. Place the softened splint at the joint of the injured limb, shape it according to the actual injury situation, and remove it after 5-10 minutes of hardening;
3. According to the condition of limb injuries, other materials such as Velcro or edging can be used for auxiliary fixation.
